This is a rare official Sony refurbished Frankenstein CECHA00. This unit had the 90nm RSX replaced by Sony with a CXD5300DGB one of the most sought after 40nm by enthusiasts. These systems being found in the wild was how the community reverse engineered Sony's work to create the Frankenstein mod.
Launch model backwards compatible ps3. This system plays ps1 ps2 and ps3 games with full hardware compatibility. This is an NTSC-J system.
Console has been refurbished with the following;
90nm RSX removed. A CXD5300DGB 40nm RSX reballed and installed at the factory.
Voltage reduced to 0.95v using a bd3504 by Sony at the factory.
NEC/TOKIN capacitors replaced with TantalACER tantalum capacitors.
Miscellaneous MLCC capacitors replaced (common cause of ylod).
CELL delidded, high quality thermal paste used. IHS not reglued.
Lid replaced with brand new RELID and decals from delidtool.com.
Motherboard has been ultrasonically cleaned.
Console is running firmware 4.93.
