The DEM, DVD Elimination Module will allow you to safely remove the disc drive. This Plug and Play kit will trick the Xbox into thinking the disc drive tray is closed. This helps to improve overall system stability and pairs well the the Video Signal Conditioner.
Some games that run from internal storage will throw up dirty disc error and other issues if the system doesn't think the dvd tray is closed. This kit eliminates that issue.
The removal of the disc drive also allows for other customisation such as dual hard drives, extra fans and the like.
